Supporting our Role Models

We know our younger years are when we experience and learn how to deal with emotions the most, which sets us up with lifelong coping habits. Having role models using effective tools and techniques in the learning environment can have a substantial impact upon the coping habits of our children.

Our teachers frequently operate within challenging circumstances where emotions arise, adding a further need for strong emotional intelligence to build their own resilience, and to continue to be a positive role model for our kids.

It’s no secret that a calm and engaging environment supports better learning outcomes for our children.  Our teachers strive to provide this type of environment every day, incorporating latest knowledge, tools, and practices in order to do so. 

We are committed to supporting their ongoing work by providing further knowledge, low-cost tools, and insightful shifts during collaborative workshops, to generate fresh ideas and innovative solutions to fit your situation.

PROVIDING A QUICK, VISUAL PROMPT, WHEN IT’S NEEDED

Catching emotions early
This credit card sized swatch provides quick prompts to help move on from an emotion - be it in the moment, or to work through it over the long term.

The swatch contains 1 card for each of the 21 emotions in this guide, hanging on a snap-lock ring. Individual cards can be easily removed, and will fit nicely into the credit card slot of a wallet or purse.

Each card contains:

  • In the moment ‘1-2-3’ prompt.

  • Working through the emotion map

  • a QR code and emotion URL to take the user to the relevant page in the free online guide, to gain more detailed information.

    Price (Education Only*):

$8.25 per swatch.

*Price is in NZD and includes GST (if applicable).
Only valid for registered primary, intermediate, and secondary schools, or tertiary education institutes.

Fund-Raising:

These swatches usually retail at $14.50 each, so if used for fund-raising activities, will raise approximately $5 per swatch (after GST has been removed).
