THE IMPORTANT STUFF

The content on this site is a guide for everyday emotions only, and does not replace the advice of a mental heath professional or health care provider.

If you are feeling significantly distressed, or at risk of harming yourself or someone else, please call a Help Line or seek professional help.

Help Line numbers can be found here or via the link on the footer. While our list contains only some countries at this point, we will continue to expand it based upon visitor locations.

If you experience an emotion persistently or excessively, or it is creating difficulties in your life, please seek help from a Mental Heath Professional.

Take care not to dwell on emotions, nor push them aside. Once we’ve figured out what needs to be learned from a particular emotion, and make relevant changes (if required), it’s usually best to let go of it and move on wiser from the experience.

Some of the content is based upon evidence based research, and some not. This guide is a mix of research, analysis, reflection upon hard experiences, along with some intuitive insight to balance out the mix. While much care has gone into creating the content, use your own judgement and discretion.

The diagrams in this guide are simply to give you the gist in a quick ‘napkin’ type format. They are not technical findings, nor do they represent such.
