Supporting Educators and Role Models for the Next Generation
It’s no secret that a calm, safe, engaging, inspiring environment supports better learning outcomes for our tamariki. And for those with chaotic home lives, this kind of environment can provide a positive sanctuary, with a positive direction for them to learn and grow in.
Our kaiako strive to provide this type of environment every day, incorporating both the latest and the time-proven knowledge, tools, and practices, in order to do so.
But they often work within challenging circumstances where emotions can frequently arise, increasing the need for strong emotional intelligence to build their resilience, and to continue to be a positive role model for our tamariki.
